Ministry of Foreign Affairs gives medals to Tabernero Winery and Vineyard

Recently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Ambassador, Fernando Rojas Samanéz, gave Tabernero Winery and Vineyard the medals obtained in the Brussels World Championship 2005 and International Vinalies 2005

Between February and April of this year, these two championships were carried out in which Tabernero obtained the Gold Medal for its Gran Tinto Fina Reserva 2002 (red wine) in the Vinalies International 2005 competition

In the Brussels World Championship 2005, Tabernero obtained three medals, Gold Medal for the Blanc de Blancs wine, a Silver Medal for the Cabernet Sauvignon wine, and a Silver Medal for "La Botija" Pisco Italia.

In recent years, Tabernero Winery and Vineyard has successfully positioned itself in the national and international market, obtaining recognition in the most important world championships for wines and piscos.

"For us, it is a great honor to obtain international awards in two consecutive years. The quality of our products is acknowledged not only by our costumers, but also by the most famous oenologists and national and international sommeliers; and our awards re the proof of that," said Ruben Sanchez, Marketing and Exportation Manager of Tabernero B & V.

 


PROMPEX (Export Promotion Commission) and Tabernero exhibit products in New York Fancy Food Show

From July 10 to 12, in Manhattan - New York, Taberneo Winery and Vineyard, the biggest wine producer in Peru, participated for the first time in the most important gourmet foods fair in the world: the Fancy Food Show, in which our country participated for the fourth year in a row.

This event, promoted by Prompex, in which Tabernero participated, was useful to exhibit our country’s high quality products, capable of entering and consolidating their presence in a market with ample development opportunities.

Wines, piscos, and champagnes were the products that Tabernero presented in the Fancy Food Show, being the only enterprise in its sector participating in the event with an exclusive Stand.

The Fancy Food Show is an event that represents great opportunities for Tabernero because the visitors are important food industry professionals, responsible for purchasing, able to make a product enter very important distribution chains such as hotels, restaurants, and supermarkets, among others.

The fair had a big turnout, receiving more than 22 thousand people associated with the gourmet food industry of the United States and the world.

According to Fancy Food Show estimates, the sales of US$ 3,850,000 were attained.

 


Tabernero continuesaccumulating internationals awards

In recent years, Tabernero Winery and Vineyard has successfully positioned itself in the domesticl and international market, obtaining recognition in the most important world championships for wines and piscos.

Recently in Paris, france, at the International Vinalies 2005 competition, the Gran Tinto Fina Reserva 202 wine (a red wine) was awarded a Gold Medal. In this championship it competed with more than 15 thousand wine samples.

Moreover, Tabernero obtained three medals in the Brussels World Championship 2005, 1 Gold Medal for Blanc de Blancs wine, 1 Silver Medal for Cabernet Sauvignon wine, and 1 Silver Medal for "La Botija" Pisco Italia.

World famous sommeliers and oenologists were in charge of qualifying the different products that participated in these championships by means of blind taste tests.

For Tabernero Winery and Vineyard, it is a great honor to obtain international awards for two consecutive years, surpassing countries that formerly predominated in wine production such as France, Italy,the United States, Australia, Chile, and Argentina.

Throughout the years, Tabernero has received honours such as the Silver Medal for Blanc de Blancs wine in the Brussels World Championship 2004, Belgium; a Bronze Medal for Acholado Pisco in the Festival del Pisco 2003, Peru (Pisco Festival); a Gold Medal for Alcoholic Beverage Quality in Madri, Spain in1984; and an International Trophy for quality in Mexico in 1980.

 


Ministry of Production honors Tabernero for its international awards

The Ministry of Production and the Comisión Nacional del Pisco (Peruvian committee for pisco) honored Tabernero Winery and Vineyard at the tenth Festival Nacional del Pisco for being the winner of different gold and silver medals in foreign countries.

In recent years, Tabernero Winery and Vineyard has successfully positioned itself in the domestic and international market, obtaining recognition in the most important world championships for wines and piscos.

This year, Tabernero B&V was the prize-winner of gold and silver medals in world championships: International Vinalies 2005 with one (1) Gold Medal in the variety of Malbec MErlot Gran Tinto Fina Reserva 2002, and three (3) medals in the Brussels World Championship with one (1) Gold Medal for Blanc de Blancs wine, one (1) Silver Medal for Cabernet Sauvignon wine, and one (1) Silver Medal for "La Botija" Pisco Italia.
